Reasons “There’s A First For Everything” Doesn’t Apply To Everyone
While the previous sentence is a common quote we see, sometimes it doesn't really apply to us. It's like throwing common sense out the window because people can't apply it on a daily basis. If it's your first time seeing snow, try not to overact, or you might get yourself injured. These folks really don't follow the whole "first time for everything" motto.
First Day Of School Isn't So Great
Starting school has its ups and downs. Some kids are excited to meet their teacher and make friends, while others shed tears of sadness and want to go home as soon as possible. Either way, we've all been both of these kids during our school years. Good luck in college too.
Welcome To The Real World, Kid
Honestly, it feels like all jobs pay is less than you're worth, and usually just enough to keep you crawling back for more. The first time getting that sweet paycheck at your part-time job is a blessing, but once you see the taxes section on your pay stub, your excitement drops faster than a fumble.
Chopsticks Are For Rookies
Honestly, if you were her, you would probably do the exact same thing. It's funny, cute and humbling to see people try chopsticks at such a young age.
An Attempt Was Made
After years of watching your mom bake, you really didn't live up to her expectations with these cookies. Who are they trying to fool here? The Cookie Monster? He would be extremely disappointed to see this come out of the oven. You should better hope not he's mad at you too.
Digging That VR Lifestyle
It's hard to imagine being in your eighties. Grandma here is embracing her age by keeping up with the times. She probably thought about how much society and technology has changed since she was a kid. No matter what you think of it, this grandmother has truly seen it all!
First Big Drop
It's a big moment when you finally reach the age, and the height, to take on only the most daring rollercoasters. It's also easily the scariest thing a kid can do. Once you get older, you realize that the real world is far scarier than that first big drop, but that doesn't mean you'll forget it. If this doesn't look familiar, maybe you're more like the kid coming up in a bit.
Cool Runnings
In this moment, these cyclists from Rwanda probably looked like a child when their eyes light up seeing snow for the first. Seeing this in one shot really brings me back to the comedy Cool Runnings. If you don't know what that is, well, there's a thing called Netflix.
One-Ply Is Not Enough
If you move in and see one-ply, there's a good chance you've chosen the wrong person to spend the rest of your life with. Who doesn't buy toilet paper until you tie the knot? College students would probably laugh at you because they know better than to buy a pack of one-ply toilet paper. It's just uncomfortable to use and sometimes, we really wished that this never became a product.
Big Enough For The Big Rides
That blessed moment when you're old enough to go on the big rides. From the looks of it, this isn't his sister's first time on these rides. For her brother, he's holding on for dear life.
Don't Use Spray-On Sunscreen
Well, this is a sign why families should never use spray-on sunscreen when they're on vacation. It might make you look like an orange Cheeto. They looked like they had some fun with the spray based on their sunburns, but at least they can cover up the burns with a t-shirt.
First Winter Didn't Go So Well
This guy probably never expected to see the dangers of one tiny ball of snow. Even with some ice, that really hurts. It could have been a lot worse. I mean, at least he didn't end up having surgery. He's lucky he didn't have an icicle stab right through his forehead.
Dressing On Your Own
Convincing your parents you're old enough to dress has its comedic pleasures like this. The girl can't decide if she wants to be a superhero or a ballerina dancer. Altogether, she decided to go with both, which is obviously a fantastic decision.
Black And White
Cats are great, but they don't really like the snow much. Let alone, it's right up there with cats having a hatred for water. If this were a dog seeing the snow for the first time, you would expect them to barge through the door and start running in the snow.
DENIED!
"NOT SO FAST, DAD!" Now, this kid has some potential to be great. Despite looking tall and lanky, he could very well find a great career as a cornerback in the NFL. But for now, he will have to settle as the hero for the annual family Thanksgiving football game.
Meeting Your Younger Self
Why hello, there! It's nice to finally meet you, NOT. With these cousins meeting each other for the first time, you can tell that it's not getting off to a strong start.
You Can't Handle The Truth
Eventually, your mom was bound to find out exactly what you were doing when you weren't attending classes at college. Of course, there's a whirlwind of emotions along with this priceless reaction on her face. Don't worry, my parents gave me the same look when I came home for Christmas.
Crash Test Dummy
Poor kid. Don't worry, it gets better after this. But how about this parent taking a photo of the scene of the crash? Dad's taking it in stride while his son puts his head down in disappointment. Maybe when he gets married, his dad will use this photo during his special day.
Ew, Dogs
This baby's reaction clearly says "What is this thing?" The dog's thoughts? "Hmmm got some treats hiding in that blanket?" That's the kind of thought process these two would go through, especially when the baby is meeting man's best friend for the first time in their young lives.
Grandma Doesn't Like Beer
I did this with my grandma once and her first response was "Go get me a glass of red wine, please." As you can tell, most grandmothers don't consider themselves as beer drinkers. They enjoy tea more than anything else. At least she tried it, now she can give it to her husband!
When Flu Season Is Over
Now, this is a mother who looks like she's ready to party after dealing with the flu. From the looks of what she's trying to do, just imagine her doing parkour in this Spider-Man customer. People seem to be willing to try anything once, but we wish she skipped over this one.
