Edward’s life spun completely out of control after a while away from the Hollywood spotlight. His career began to fall to pieces in the wake of serious drug and alcohol problems that grew increasingly worse.

Edward finally ended up in rehab in October 2000. He said of the ordeal: “I was a heroin and cocaine addict. It was really scary. I don’t even think about [partying] anymore. It seems lonely now: running and clubbing and doing coke. I have nightmares about doing hard drugs.” Ouch.
