Duck Dynasty is one of the most popular shows to ever air on A&E. When Phil Roberston was suspended for homophobic remarks, the network found themselves in hot water with the fans. Despite his statements, fans rallied for Robertson to return to the show.

Ultimately, the network conceded to the fans and allowed Robertson back. Not many shows on cable could match Duck Dynasty’s ratings, so this decision isn’t too surprising. Since his return, Robertson has refused to apologize for his insensitive remarks.
