Lisa Bonet’s Cosby Show character was so popular that she was given her own show; A Different World. The show saw her character, Denise Huxtable, head off to college to create a life of her own.

Sadly, when Bonet got pregnant after the first season, the network pulled the plug. Bonet was let go and her character written out of the show. She was later invited to rejoin The Cosby Show, but was asked to leave a year later for “creative reasons” and wasn’t brought back for the series finale.
