Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise first met each other on the set of the 1990 film, Days of Thunder. Cruise played Cole Trickle, a young race car driver out to make a name for himself in NASCAR, and Kidman played Dr. Claire Lewicki, a neurosurgeon who develops a relationship with Cole.

Tom and Nicole took their relationship off the screen into the real world. They got married, but then they split up in 2001.
