Chris Henry was an American football star who played for the Cincinnati Bengals for five seasons, as a wide receiver. Despite his early success in the NFL, he later faced a string of issues with the law including marijuana possession charges, assault, and drunk driving. He was later suspended from the league in 2007 and waived by the Bengals in 2008. The following year, Henry was involved in a tragic accident when he fell out of the back of a moving truck while fighting with his girlfriend Loleini Tonga, with whom he shared three children. Henry died of head trauma at age 26. An autopsy later revealed that he suffered from CTE (chronic traumatic encephalitis), likely brought on by his years of playing football.
