Electro Shock Death at Action Park

200367100-001

As mentioned earlier, Action Park didn’t have the best track record for safety. In one incident, in 1982, a 27-year-old man was on the Kayak Experience ride when his kayak tipped over. He was able to get out, but stepped on a grate and suffered severe electric shock. He went into cardiac arrest and was killed. The park was cleared of any wrong-doing but was shut down because the public was too scared to ride it.
