Girl Loses Both Feet at Six Flags

13-year-old Kaitlyn Lassiter stood in line and got on the Superman Tower of Power at Six Flags in Kentucky with her two friends in 2007. The Tower is one of those terrifying rides that drop 325 feet from the air. As the ride was climbing, a cable broke and fell on Kaitlyn’s legs. Then, the ride dropped, severing both legs where the cable lay, just above her feet. The girls reported the ride shaking and jerking, and smelled smoke before it happened. The victim lost both of her feet.
