Amusement Park Accidents That Will Give You Nightmares
20 Years Later, More Performers Killed
A decade after the deaths at Disney World, the curse seemed to come back, as three more Disney workers were killed on the job in 2009. The first death occurred when a monorail train collided with another train, killing the driver. Soon after, a 47-year-old performer in Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial died from a head injury he sustained while sword-fighting. The last performer was killed in the same show as the last slide, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! A spokesperson for Disney said they were “freak accidents” and unrelated.
