Pluto Killed by Disney Float

In 2004 the afternoon parade was in full swing at Disney’s Frontierland. Javier Cruz, dressed as Pluto the dog, was walking in the parade when the foot of his costume was caught and caused him to trip. He wasn’t able to get up in time, before the Beauty and the Beast float behind him ran him over. Cruz was killed instantly, causing OSHA to find Disney $6,500.
