There was no better preparation for the real world of reporting for this class of students than when Amy Roberston was given the job of principal of their school. Pittsburg High School.
Her appointment into this important position was approved by the local board of education.
But that didn’t stop the journalism students looking into her background.
Some red flags soon popped up that gave them some serious cause for concern.
Amy had gained her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Corllins University, an institution which had undergone heavy scrutiny of ‘lack of legitimacy’.
Was Amy actually qualified for her new job?
The students reported their findings in the school newspaper, The Booster Redux.
According to the student’s research, Corllins is:
“A business that sells fake college degrees”.
The paper also said that Corllins is not Department of Education accredited.
