An interview got cut short when an unexpected surprise was retrieved from the rubble a tornado that struck an Oklahoma City suburb.
During an interview with CBS News, a resident named Barbara Garcia recounted the horrifying moments up to and during the tornado that struck her home and town.
Barbara was one of the thousands of residents of Moore, who is trying to process what has happened to their idyllic town.
However, she thankfully had two prayers answered.
Her first was to keep her safe, and the second was to keep her little dog safe.
During the interview, Barbara describes how she was sat on a stool in the bathroom holding her dog on her lap.
Then the electricity went out and Barbara was lifted off her stool and laying amongst the rumble, her dog nowhere to be found.
“I hollered for my little dog and he didn’t answer or didn’t come, so I know he’s in here somewhere,” Garcia explained, while pointing toward the massive pile of debris that was once her home.
