When you are pregnant, you expect to go the whole nine months of pregnancy, but when you are told you are going to have to deliver your baby 12 weeks early, I imagine panic sets in, and millions of thoughts go through a mom’s head.

On mom proved she only had undying love for her son who was born 12 weeks early. Weighing only 2 pounds,  Yamille Jackson’s son, Zachary, spent many days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and doctors were unsure whether the baby would survive. To be exact, Zachary spent 155 days in the NICU where he was fighting for his life every day.

Yamille had educational background in ergonomics and human factors engineering, and with this in mind she was determined to make her son’s overnight stays more pleasant. This was when she decided to make a special glove which she tucked in with her son overnight in the NICU.
