Kardashians love being in news. This year, however, they have managed to make the more negative headlines.
Kendall Jenner, the Social Media Model, ran into troubles after the Pepsi’s tone deaf advertisement went live.
The commercial was so distasteful that it united internet trolls. Apparently, the advert sounded belittling to the Black Lives Matter movement.
The plot of the commercial had a striking similarity to the Taking a Stand in Baton Rouge fame Ieshia Evans. Evans faced down armed police during a Black Lives Matter protest march in Louisiana and was consequently arrested. Ironically, Jenner managed to get away by offering just a can of Pepsi to the police officer.
The youngest Kardashian sister, Khloe Kardashian is reportedly facing a lawsuit against her filed by Xposure Photos.
Khloe allegedly posted a photograph on Instagram in September 2016 which was already licensed to the Daily Mail. Xposure Photos have also asserted that the photograph shared with them had been edited to mask the copyright information. Xposure has sued Khloe for $150,000 for “willful, intentional and malicious” copyright infringement.
The most famous Kardashian, Kim has lost up to 100,000 followers on Instagram in recent weeks.
Things escalated quickly when some photographs suggesting that the star was extensively editing her images had surfaced.
