Facebook is probably the world’s number one social networking site, with over a billion users every month it’s a perfect way to connect with friends you haven’t seen in a while, or to find people with similar interests. You can post photos, videos, music, you can pretty much share every aspect of your life on the site, but just how much, is too much? Here are five things that pretty much everyone has on their profile that need to be removed immediately for your own safety!
If you have any of these available to find on your profile, you need to consider getting rid of them very quickly.
1. Your Birthday
There have been many times when I have forgotten a friend’s birthday and have had to check on Facebook to remind myself of the date, after all, most people display their birthday on the top of their profile.
Whilst it may be nice being flooded with birthday wishes on your timeline, quite often we use parts of our date of birth for security questions. So by displaying it for the entire internet to see you could be seriously risking your personal safety.
