It was a touching moment that could melt even the coldest of hearts.
Five-year-old Walker Myrick was pictured telling his identical twin brother all about his very first day of kindergarten.
Unfortunately, this little boy never got the chance to properly meet his brother. Willis, his twin, tragically died while in their mother’s womb.
He died due to a rare condition before they were born.
So when Walker started school in Alabama, a milestone that, in a perfect world, they would have reached together Walker decided to share the special moment with his twin.
Brooke Myrick, his mother, took the photo in 2012 knowing the photo she had just captured was a very special and important moment.
The photo showed the twin’s amazing connection, despite being separated and never actually meeting one another.
Brooke said Walker had run ahead as she was getting her baby out of the car. When she finally caught up with him, she saw him resting against his brother’s grave telling him all about his first day.
