Internet slang is changing all the time, which means that it’s super hard to understand what certain things mean. Whether it’s LMAO or MILF, it’s hard to remember what all these words actually mean. Sometimes, it feels like you’re in an endless game of Boggle and there’s just no way out. To be honest, we’ve all had our moments when it comes to using these phrases, but some are more hilarious than others!

All too often, us moms try to use the terms without actually knowing what they mean… Or, even worse, we THINK we know what they mean, but they actually mean something rude or dirty. Things can get pretty awkward pretty fast.

Ah, this mom thought that she knew what WTF meant. Oh, how very wrong she was! For the record, WTF is not a polite thing to say to someone, and it does not stand for ‘What the fudge?’ but that is pretty close.
